Bino: Team game is our strength

Gokulam Kerala FC coach Bino George said that the club would aim for full three points in their Hero I-League clash against East Bengal at VYBK Stadium in Kolkata on Saturday.

“I have a lot of respect towards East Bengal. They have lost three matches and it is unfortunate. They will fight. We can never underestimate them. Our focus will be on three points. The boys are in good form,” he said.

“The support we have been receiving in Kerala is wonderful. For every match there are lot of people coming to watch us. I want to give them something back,” he said.

“East Bengal has good players and their foreigners have performed well. Everything will depend on the performances of the players on match day,” he said.

Bino explained that the strength of the team is to play as a team.”We have no star players in the team. We play as a single team and that is our strongest post. The boys have given 100 percent so far. We need to keep the momentum,” he said.

Bino added that his aim was to bring back the past glory of Kerala football. “We are giving platform to these young lads from our state and they are showing the world that they can play beautiful football,” he said.

For Gokulam Kerala FC, their captain Mudde Musa will return to the squad after three-match suspension. Gokulam play East Bengal on December 8. The match will be live on Star Sports 3 and Hotstar.
