Kozhikode, March 31: Indian international Dalima Chhibber has penned her deal for Gokulam Kerala FC for the upcoming Hero Indian Women’s League slated to start in May. Dalima is a versatile player and plays as right back in the Indian team. She has scored a wonderful free-kick goal in the recently concluded SAFF Cup final against Nepal. She is from Delhi.
“It is an honour to play for Gokulam Kerala FC and I wish we could be the IWL champions. I really look forward to meet the Kerala’s passionate football fans,” said Dailma Chhibber after signing her contract.
Gokulam Kerala FC has already signed two Kerala players also for the tournament. Defender Athulya KV, and midfielder Reshma ER will represent the team in the IWL.
“Dalima is one of the best players in the country and her signing will be a major boost for us. We will be signing more talents and are also in pursuit of signing a couple of foreigners for the IWL,” said Gokulam Kerala FC head coach Priya PV.
