Established in 2017, Gokulam Kerala Football Club (GKFC) was founded with a clear and ambitious mission: to return Kerala to the forefront of Indian football. Based in the historic city of Kozhikode, our club represents the resilience, deep-rooted heritage, and unwavering passion of the Malabar region. As a flagship of the Sree Gokulam Group, we are committed to professional excellence, community empowerment, and the development of world-class talent.
The name “Malabarians” is a tribute to the people of North Kerala, whose connection to the game is legendary. Our club crest features the Theyyam, a traditional ritual art form that symbolizes strength and the divine spirit. Our colors—maroon and gold—reflect the rich cultural tapestry of our land and our pursuit of excellence on the national stage.
In a short span of time, Gokulam Kerala FC has rewritten the history books of Indian football. We are proud to be the first club from Kerala to win the I-League, and the first in the modern era to successfully defend the title.
